Heavy loads: why brick and concrete cap at 14 yards.

Five of our six material types are heavy: clean soil, concrete, asphalt, brick, and soil mixed with concrete. For all of them the largest bin we will rent you is the 14-yard.

The limit is the truck and the road, not the bin. A 20-yard bin filled with concrete weighs more than the vehicle carrying it is rated for. That is a legal limit on the supplier, not a preference of ours, which is why the 20-yard simply is not offered once you choose a heavy material.

If you pick a 20-yard first and then choose a heavy material, the booking flow tells you and offers to switch you down. Nothing is changed behind your back.

Mixed waste — the general household and renovation category — has no such cap, and is available in all three sizes.
