Sizing

10, 14 or 20 yards? How to pick the right bin.

We rent three sizes. The 10-yard suits a single room, a garage or a yard clear-out. The 14-yard is the one most people end up with: a multi-room renovation, a basement, a move. The 20-yard is for a full house or a construction site.

The question that settles it is not how much you are throwing out, but how bulky it is. A mattress, a sofa and a few doors fill far more space than their weight suggests, because none of it packs down. A bin of broken drywall takes much less room than a bin of furniture.

If you are between two sizes, take the larger one. An undersized bin means a second delivery you pay for; an oversized one costs the difference between two prices, which is smaller. You can also describe the job on the size step and we will suggest one — it is a suggestion you confirm, never a choice made for you.
